Aromatherapy – basic knowledge
Oils are the key to aromatherapy. The plants are subtracted and can be used to treat all of the body's systems, mind distortion and emotional inequalities. There are several ways to use oils, but massage is the most effective way to get the oils into the body and relaxation benefits.
History
Historians believe that Aromatherapy came to the Western world during the Crusades. There are memories of aromatherapy during the plague in the fourteenth century. The XVI. And XVII. It was more popular in the century. Most ancient cultures appreciated the healing power of aromatic herbal oils.
Methods of Using Essential Oils
Massage Massage Techniques and Diluted Essential Oils.
Steam inhalation – using essential oils and hot water.
Bathtubs – Spotted Bathing Water
Ventilators – using heat for the smell of oil and its properties in the air.
Creams / lotions / shampoos / gels – essential oils are added.
Gargles and mouthwash
Compresses – cotton soaked in water and essential oils.
Normal – some people can not be diluted on the skin.
How does it work?
The oils enter the body by inhalation and absorption. After inhalation, the signs go to the limbic system of the brain, which has a direct effect on the mind and emotions. When absorbed, the chemical components of the oils are transported into the bloodstream to every part of the body where they interact with the body chemistry methods similar to medicines.
Who profits?
Everyone – age and health can be beneficial.
Self-treatment
Self-consumption is suitable for minor or short-term problems such as minor cuts, burns and bruising, colds, flushes and chest infections, mild eczema, dermatitis, rash, stinging, constipation, diarrhea, digestive disorders, etc.
When to see a specialist? If you are pregnant, have allergic, chronic illness or epilepsy or hypertension, you are taking homeopathic medicines, psychiatric care and stimulating children.
Mixing oils
Essential oils can be used alone or in combination with others. When mixing oils, choose two or three groups from the same group, citrus, flowers, spices, etc.
The oils are mixed up to enhance their drugs and create other fragrances.
Massage Oil
Massage your mixing by choosing light vegetable base oil, such as grapes, sweet almonds, or sunflower oil. Add the oil, then shake it and test it on the back of your hand. You can add it until you reach the desired scent.
Bath oils
Add 5-10 drops of essential oil to adults in a full bath. Children use 2-3 drops and 1 infant for infants. You can use 2-3 feet drops for a foot bath.
Cream / Body Lotion / Shampoo Mixing
Choose sliced products and add 1-2 drops of essential oil.
Gargle / mouthwash mixing
This is not good taste and NOT for kids. Dilute 4-5 drops of essential oil in a teaspoon of brandy and stir in a glass of hot water.
Steam Inhalation
Add 3-4 drops of oil to a bowl of boiling water, pass over the gut, cover your head with a towel and breathe deep for a few minutes. Be sure to inhale your chest and not your stomach.
Evaporators
Add 6-8 drops of essential oil to the evaporator. The evaporator can be electric, ceramic or homemade. You can use a ceramic bowl that is heated by a small candle.
Hot and cold compresses
Add 4 or 5 drops of essential oil to a bowl of hot or cold water, then soak the water-containing cotton fabric and unscrew the affected area.
Clean
Only lavender, tea tree and sandalwood can be used on the skin diluted.
